Zebra River Camp is a boutique luxury tented safari camp nestled in the forest along the bend of Talek river in Maasai Mara. The river and the forest under which the camp sits on is teeming with birdlife and hippos and crocodiles, and plains game on the other side of the camp.
With only 15 rooms and 1 family tent, this small camp suits couples ,families and groups who are looking for luxury in the Mara in a small luxury safari camp while enjoying the magics of safaris in Maasai Mara.
Our spacious main area has comfy lounges that are connected to our fully stocked bar for our guests to enjoy selections of drinks, teas and coffees at any time of the day.

Our Balconies in the Main area and Umbrella shaded areas gives our guests relaxing areas at day time or evening while enjoying the great wildlife in the Camp.
All our rooms are river facing and each with front wall glasses for amazing and unobstructed views of the Maasai Mara and River Talek.
The Spacious rooms have Double /Twin beds, indoor lounges, ensuite bathrooms with indoor showers with both cold and hot running water, Twin Vanity, flushing toilets, study desks among other amenities.

All our Safaris are conducted by KPSGA rated professional Guides inside Maasai Mara National Reserve in our 4 x 4 open sided Landcruisers customized for game viewing.
Safaris may be shared with other guests but a group of 4 and above get their own exclusive use of car. In case you will need your own safari guide and own car please book this in advance for the peak season or based on availability when at the camp.
Safaris can be done in the Morning and afternoon or full day drives but we ask our guides and guests to plan their day’s game drives based on other activities.

The staff is so incredibly nice. They remember your names, the stories you share with them, and even your regular drink orders. They love having a chat with you and exchanging stories about their life, while taking a genuine interest in your stories. The staff that guides you to the tents once it’s dark were very helpful. They truly made this trip amazing, and I’d love to visit them again. The accommodation itself is really nice and well maintained. In the evening, the staff preps your tent for nighttime. The food was very tasty and provided plenty of choice. Overall, this was an amazing experience, especially made by the wonderful maasai people. You’d be missing out if you didn’t visit them during your Kenya trip.
