Safaris in Maasai Mara

Maasai Mara Game Reserve is located in Southern Kenya and is one of the New seven wonders of the world. It is considered as one of the most premium Wildlife Parks in Africa for Safaris where we have plenty of game throughout the year and in July to October, we have THE GREAT WILDBEESTS MIGRATION of over 2 Million wildebeests and Zebras being accompanied by some other antelopes as they migrate from Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to Maasai Mara. It is during this time of the year where we witness a lot of predator actions both on the land with Cats and in Rivers infested with crocodiles. It is once in a lifetime experience not to be missed and Zebra Plains Guides are very passionate in making this a come true reality for you and your safari Companions.

All ZEBRA PLAINS COLLECTION SAFARI CAMPS are perfectly located in Maasai Mara where we are able to access very prime locations in the Mara within short drives. In one day we get to spend morning hours in one location and afternoon in another location which is not possible in many camps in the Mara. Our location is Central and we guarantee our guests memorable safaris.

Our Safari Guides

Zebra Plains Collection Guides are very experienced and knowledgeable. They have all gone through a lot of internal training on safari guiding.

They are certified by Kenya’s guiding organization known as Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association after qualifying their guiding tests.
They have been guiding in Kenya for over 7 years and know our parks very well. Their driving skills are excellent and positioning of the vehicles to get you that excellent photo is what they know the best with respect of the animal’s comfort zone and yours as well.

We understand that a good guide will create you good safari memories and that is why we have chosen the best who are always undergoing our internal training and examinations as well.

Our Safari Vehicles

Zebra Plains’ Safari vehicles are customized for safari and are with reinforced suspension system for the African safari terrains and high ground clearance thus allowing you to explore our parks with ease and comfort. We use 4×4 Land cruisers only for Safaris.

We have our vehicles fitted with the following;

Comfortable seating guaranteeing an unrestricted view of the wildlife or the beautiful sceneries of Maasai Mara
Open roofs that allow our guests to have best views of the wildlife and to video or take photos of them.
Cooler box for drinks when on safari.
First Aid Kit Box.
