Praro Amboseli is a luxury tented safari Lodge located in Amboseli National Park in Kenya, it sits in 35,000 Acres private Aloca Conservancy which borders Amboseli National Park and it is shared by very few other partner camps.
Our Lodge’s location is in prime wilderness area with plenty of Wildlife seen from the Main area or from some of the rooms. Some of the wildlife seen around the camp are Elephants, Giraffes, Several species of antelopes including the rare Kudu and Gerenuk, Baboons and on some occasions Lions, Buffalos and Cheetahs.
The dam Infront of the camp becomes active throughout the day with all the mention wildlife including different species of birds visiting it to drink water or mud wallow during the hottest hours of the day.
Camp features several relaxing areas with both indoor and outdoor lounges, fully stocked bar area and Tv lounge. There are two camp fire stations as well; where our guests get to enjoy their drinks before dinner or after dinner. There are two spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas and a wine cellar, buffet areas featuring live cooking stations for all our camp’s local and international cuisines.
There is swimming pool as well that faces the dam and it is such a beautiful place to cool off and relax during hottest hours of the day as you enjoy some wildlife passing by to the dam.
Luxury Accommodation
Our lodge has total of 46 rooms that can be converted into twin or double beds and one is family villa that has two rooms interconnected by a lounge, two other junior family tents with one interconnected by walkway and one having spacious room that takes one double bed and two single beds. All of our rooms can be converted into twin or double beds set ups, and they all have indoor lounges and outdoor relaxing areas, ensuite bathrooms with indoor showers with both cold and hot running water, A vanity, flushing toilets, study desks among, ceiling fan, over the bed fan and tea and coffee making facilities.
Food, Drinks & Dining Areas
Our experienced chefs at Praro will always prepare very delicious meals and attention to every detail on our culinary delights is our priority we take care of all requests such as Vegan, Vegetarians, Halal, Gluten free and any other preferences.
We as well have a well stocked bar with good very good selection of both Alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, tea and coffee making facilities. Our hosts will always prepare cocktails for you when in the main area our around the pool area.
Should you be having any dietary. Allergies or other requests we always appreciate if you will communicate to us through your travel agent at the time of booking or on arrival.

All our guests who are booked on our game package at Praro Amboseli are guaranteed private safari vehicle customised for safaris and experienced KPSGA’s Gold, Silver or Diploma in Safari Guiding.
