Zebra Mara Lemek is a small Intimate tented safari camp located in the Private Lemek Conservancy in Maasai Mara Game Reserve. The camp sits in the heart of the conservancy, in prime location where there is plenty of big game activities around the camp. There is a resident pride of lions and a resident leopard that lives around our camp.
The camp’s Main area and all the rooms have amazing views of the open plains of Lemek Conservancy. There is a waterhole Infront of the camp that gets very busy during dry season and thus giving our guests good game sightings even when in the Camp and not on safari. The Camp’s spacious main area is central point of the camp where our guests meet to enjoy their drinks, bush stories from our hosts /other guests, enjoy their meals or to cool off by the swimming pool when it is hot. It features indoor and outdoor lounges, an all inclusive fully stocked bar, spacious dining spaces as well as Camp fire to share evening stories and your favourite evening drink after your day out on safaris or relaxing at the camp.
In the hottest part of the day when you are not out on safari, we have swimming pool to cool off and enjoy the endless views of the open plains of Lemek Conservancy. Other places to enjoy in the camp includes the Gym, Spa and a Library.
Private Safari Vehicle and Guide
All our guests who are booked on our game package at Royal Zebra River are guaranteed private safari vehicle customised for safaris and experienced KPSGA’s Gold, Silver or Diploma in Safari Guiding.

Lemek Conservancy
Lemek Conservancy is a private 19,000 Acres located in Northern part of Maasai Mara, Zebra Plains Mara Lemek just joined this conservancy which it is leased by landowners for conservation; for a period of 25 years. It is teeming with plenty of wildlife from Big cats, plenty of Plains Game, Giraffes, Elephants, Hippos in Mara River and as well we have Rhino Sanctuary in the neighbouring Olchoro-roiwa Conservancy.
In here only safari vehicles belonging to member camps have access to this massive protected area and it gives us opportunity to have exclusive and premium sightings with very few numbers of vehicles and not crowded ones.
Our guests as well gets opportunity to explore the conservancy on foot through walking safaris and as well to go out on night game drives, activities that are not permitted in the Main Reserve.
Lemek Conservancy is a very vital protected area in the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem and we are glad to be playing part in its conservation.
